Wooooooo new PS3! Happy New Year’s Eve!
Running around helping my sister with her PS3 scheme today totally paid off. We ended up paying $170 for it! Pretty impressive ehh?
Afterward, I spent an afternoon at Cross Iron Mills. Yay for new pants/colorful sweaters/shoes!! I love my new pretty heels =)

Happy Birthday!!
A yummy pho lunch at a sketchy restaurant that is below a gym (we could hear people running while we were eating…), spending the afternoon playing silly Wii games, a tasty birthday dinner, cake and watching random Asian shows. Winter break is proving to be pretty fantastic =)

During my study break, S, L and I went down to main Schaffer. Because of the norovirus outbreak, we are now getting free laundry! Along with that, S was told that each floor was getting 14 boxes of Tide!! That sounds pretty awesome right? Sadly, it wasn’t as cool as I thought. When they said 14 boxes, they meant 14 single load boxes of Tide.
Oh. I was expecting something so much more.

Today was my last volunteering day for the year! The kids were doing a scavenger hunt around the school and then they had a Christmas party! I got to spend the afternoon watching Shrek, eating chips and helping to build a gingerbread house.

Today was another busy study day - finals are coming up so soon!
I wasn’t feeling very good today so I made myself some tea. It wasn’t your average mug of green tea though - apparently S’s thermos wasn’t washed well enough so my tea ended up being green tea flavored with black coffee. My first fried rice in a very long time!! It turned out alright - the rice was too moist =(
Cooking is good stress reliever for me in between studying and it makes me happy to eat rice once in awhile - it reminds me of home and makes me happy.

Last day of classes!!!!! First final done, assignment/poster/take-home final handed in. Next final on the 17th. Life is good.

Ugh my education poster is finally finished and printed! It felt nice to play around with Photoshop again - it brought back fun memories of CP. However, this poster was also such a pain and I’m glad it’s over with. There are a fair amount of things I would change about the poster now that I see it in print but I think it turned out alright =)

While working on my poster/assignment/take-home final/studying for my exam, eating these noodles with fish balls was absolutely fantastic. Best post-dinner meal. And, my actual dinner was yummy congee from T&T. I love my comfort foods <3

While at Zellers today, I was enticed by a friendly sounding man with the promise of free gifts. Sadly, there was only one free gift (a lens cleaning cloth…) but I got something really cool anyway. Mr. Sticky! It’s like an awesome lint roller that never has to be refilled =)

Today, I had a break between class and volunteering so I decided to stay on campus to eat lunch and get a bit of work done. I ended up going to CAB to grab lunch. My first successfully flipped crepe!

Nooooooo my mittens!! =(
Today, while on the bus to Study Buddy volunteering, I accidentally left my mittens on the bus. I never got a chance to take a picture of my new mittens too… They were brand new and a present from A. Sigh I loved those mittens. They were so warm and cute =(
But, it’s a good thing I have my lovely Olympic mittens to keep me warm instead.

There is nothing that can console me today after I had to finish up my history paper instead of going to the midnight release of Harry Potter. I even had a ticket!! But sadly, procrastination got the best of me, yet again =(

Lister Love Auction!!
I finally got to go to a people auction! Lister’s finest were auctioned off tonight in support of the Heart and Stroke Foundation. It was so much fun to watch and some of the dates sound like they will be lots of fun. I even got to bid once =D

Today, in between my afternoon and evening class, I decided to treat myself to some Starbucks while I worked on my paper. Today’s choice: Eggnog latte and a pumpkin cream cheese muffin. The latte didn’t taste like anything special but the muffin was AMAZING. SO AMAZING. Oh man. So ridiculously yummy, you have no idea. I hope I can get it again some time soon =(
